ANA is soon to go into the water and set sail around the Greek Isles. First leg of the journey takes her west across the Aegean, after picking up some crew on Kos.

Come aboard the Global Warming Warrior and tell your story
From Kos up to Kalymnos, and across to Paros where we are scheduled to arrive on May, 25th. Maybe you would like to come aboard for a day or two for a sail, and to tell us your story.Or even meet us in port.

Dear Global Warming Warrior,
I saw your ad on the CrewFile.com website and couldn’t believe the amazing opportunity! I wish I was going to be in the greek islands this summer sailing on your boat. I’m planning on doing just that next summer with a friend hopefully and was wondering if you had any advice on finding crew jobs easily that last through the summer months, june-august? What your doing sounds like the dream trip and my friend and I are hoping we can find the same thing for next summer! Thanks for any knowledge that you have and enjoy your summer throughout Greece! I was just there 3 weeks ago and LOVED it!

Hi,
Are you still looking for crew?
Your trip sounds great, as I have cruised the North Ionians, and the south coast of Turkey. Both are simply amazing and beautiful.
Kind regards
Georgia
Dear Global Warming Warrior,
I am currently travelling around Greece indefinately. I have absolutley no sailing experience but I do just happen to have met up with a friend who was sailing around the Ionian Islands with her family and I reckon I picked up a few tips! I also have plenty of experience in all other fields, including those mentioned in your ad…I believe they included philosophising and generally helping out? That I can definately do.
I also have a very strong interest in climate change. My sister is a climate change activist (see the Drax coal train hijackers who have just been found guilty of of obstructing a railway in the name of the destruction of the climate) and I am becoming more and more curious about the roles we can play in averting our planet’s hellbent course towards destruction!
But back to your ad. Basically I would really love to find work on a boat and if you think there is room for me I would be willing to help out in return for a ride! I am currently hitchiking through the peloponese having returned from Kephallonia yesterday.
By the way I am a 22 year old English Literature student from Kent in the UK. I would like to think I am good company and also capable of hard work.
I look forward to hearing from you either way, and I hope you’re anjoying greece as much as I am.
All the best,
Fanny James
